Privacy
OOO Writer has no accounts and stores nothing on a server. What you type into the writer stays in your browser: in the page link (so you can share it) and in this tab's session storage. Your last chosen mail app, the before-you-go checklist and your cookie choice are remembered in local storage. Clearing your browser data removes all of it. Anyone you send a copied link to can read the details in it.
Counting visits
We use Google Analytics and PostHog to see which pages and replies help. They receive the page you are on and what you did there, for example that a reply was copied, its tone and how many blanks were filled. They never receive the text of a reply, a name or an email address: the part of the link that holds your details is removed before anything is sent.
Ads
When ads run, they come from Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can turn off personalized ads in Google's Ads Settings, and read how Google uses information from sites that show its ads.
Your choice
In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, analytics and ad cookies stay off until you say yes. Everywhere else they are on from your first visit. Google works out where you are from your network address; PostHog goes by your device's time zone instead, so a European time zone is asked first. Wherever you are, Cookie settings at the bottom of every page lets you say yes or no, and the choice is kept in this browser.
